How much moisturizer should one apply?
Pea-sized or a dollop? 1 or 2 pumps? Two drops or a big spoonful? It is often difficult to know how much cosmetic product to use and one tends to go overboard.
With the exception of suncare products, believing that the more cream you put on, the more effective it will be, is a widespread misconception.

For a moisturizer, applying a chickpea-sized portion will be perfect for the face and neck. This is the equivalent of a full pump of Anthropy's Shelter Cream or Hero Gel-Cream.
Larger than a chickpea ? Your skin will get sticky and your makeup might not last as long.
Smaller than a chickpea? Say goodbye to the hydrating and comforting effects.
One musn't be too generous with the application of natural skincare products that mainly contain active ingredients and very few texture ingredients.
TLDR
In this context , less is more. Being too generous when it comes to the application of cream does not make you feel better and can even have an occlusive effect (but not in a good way), thus promoting pimples and blackheads. On the other hand , applying too little won't hydrate your skin enough , rendering it painful and prone to premature aging.

What about concentrated skincare?
For these particular treatments, the usage guidelines must be respected.
Some active ingredients are powerful and strongly stimulate the skin: this is the case with retinol (Vit A acid).
This is why in our Radiant Cream , we use a 100% plant-based alternative to synthetic retinol: Bakuchiol, which is extracted from the seeds of the Babchi flower. This provides the same benefits as retinol without the side effects.
